Hi friends! It's been a while sincewe've posted, but we've been busy continuing to work for social change across California.
One of our current projects is with California Community Colleges to help spread the word about college opportunities. The California Community Colleges provide affordable and accessible programs that can drastically improve social and economic mobility for individuals and play a pivotal role in economic recovery for our state. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a recent decline in enrollment — particularly in those communities most impacted by the pandemic.
We are recruiting organizations that have expertise in reaching historically marginalized and/or underrepresented communities and are willing to participate as paid outreach partners. The goal of the Outreach Partnership Program is to promote college enrollment and raise awareness of the year-round availability of financial aid, career education programs, and guaranteed transfer to participating four-year colleges or universities.
The application deadline is March 1, 2022, for an outreach period of April 1 - June 30, 2022. Selected organizations will receive a stipend of $2,250 per quarter – plus a $300 training bonus – to conduct outreach activities.
